Author Guidelines

1. Scope and Eligibility

The International Scientific Conference ERAZ – Knowledge-Based Sustainable Development invites authors to submit original, unpublished research papers that fall within the scope of the conference themes as defined in the Aims & Scope section of the website.

Submissions must represent original scholarly work and must not be under consideration by any other journal, conference, or publisher.

2. Submission Process

  • All submissions are accepted exclusively through the official ERAZ conference website.

  • Submissions sent by email or through other channels will not be considered.

  • Authors must follow all instructions provided in the online submission system.

3. Abstract Preparation Guidelines

Each manuscript must include an abstract of 100–150 words that provides a clear, concise, and accurate overview of the paper.

The abstract should clearly summarize the main aspects of the study and reflect the actual content of the paper. It must be self-contained and understandable without reference to the full text.

Authors must ensure that the abstract is clear, coherent, and written in appropriate academic English. Vague, overly descriptive, or generic abstracts will be returned for revision prior to peer review.

The abstract must accurately reflect the scope, content, and contribution of the full paper.

4. Abstract Submission

  • Abstracts must be submitted by the announced deadline.

  • Each abstract is subject to a double-blind peer review process.

  • Abstract acceptance is a prerequisite for full paper submission.

  • Abstracts accepted with modification are revised at the full paper stage; no second abstract review round is conducted.

5. Full Paper Submission

  • Full papers may be submitted only after abstract acceptance.

  • Full papers are reviewed in a double-blind peer review process.

  • Authors must ensure that the full paper corresponds to the accepted abstract in scope and content.

  • Papers that substantially diverge from the accepted abstract may be rejected or returned for revision.

6. Manuscript Preparation

  • The official language of the conference and all publications is English.

  • Manuscripts must follow the official ERAZ paper template and formatting guidelines provided on the website.

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring clarity, coherence, and academic quality.

  • References must be complete, accurate, and formatted according to the specified citation style.

Peer review focuses on academic merit, not language editing. Authors are encouraged to ensure appropriate language quality prior to submission.

7. Authorship Responsibilities

  • All listed authors must meet the authorship criteria outlined on the website.

  • The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript.

  • Authorship changes after submission are not permitted.

8. Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Use

The responsible use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools is permitted only in accordance with the official ERAZ GenAI Policy.

Authors must:

  • Disclose any use of GenAI tools in a separate AI declaration statement.

  • Ensure that GenAI tools are not used to replace scholarly judgment, originality, or authorship.

  • Remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of AI-assisted content.

  • Independently verify all references, data, and factual claims suggested by AI tools.

GenAI tools must not be listed as authors.

Manuscripts must:

  • Where revisions are requested, authors must address reviewer comments within the specified timeframe.

  • Failure to submit required revisions may result in rejection.
