Ph.D. from Bharathiar University, with first Class MBA in Human Resource Management from Pondicherry University, UGC NET qualified in HRM, Personal Management, Industrial Relations and Labour Laws.

Holds an international diploma as an instructor for both IATA Foundation in Travel and Tourism (DTTF) and IATA Travel and Tourism Consultant (DTTC) courses from ITDI Canada, Montreal.

Recipient of two national level awards for Research Excellence and Academic Excellence by InSC, ISO Certified Organisation. Recipient of four international best paper awards by RDA, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Recipient of Prestigious President Guide award.

Has eight years of teaching experience at Post Graduate Level as a tenured faculty for Masters of Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM), M.A. (Tourism and Heritage Management) at S.S. Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Goa, and as a visiting faculty for PGDBA- Event Management and M.Com. Served as a visiting faculty for National Institute of Water Sports, IGNTU for a four credit paper in Tourism.

Life-time member of Research Development Authority, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Serves as a member of Board of Studies for hospitality and tourism, at Goa University.

Presented in eleven international conferences, two national conference and published in eight peer reviewed journals, edited a national level book, and contributed chapter in an international book and national-level book on tourism.

Also has a corporate experience of twelve years and worked with reputed international airlines such as Czech Airline and Qatar Airways, and MNC’s such as Thomas Cook, Siemens, and TRX.

Manager instructional designer at TATA Interactive systems, Mumbai. Provided consultancy services to set up IATA authorised training center at S.S Dempo College of Commerce and Economics.

Writer on opinion section and letters to the editor in a leading newspaper in Goa.

Actively involved in solid waste management and capacity building as a president of a NGO, Eco-Kshatriya Foundation.

Subjects of interest are research on women studies, talent development, accessibility in tourism, public private partnership in tourism, innovative teaching methods, and trends in the tourism industry.
