Constantine Manasakis is an economist (MBA, PhD), Associate Professor of Economic Analysis at the Department of Political Science, University of Crete; Adjunct Professor at the “Master in Business Administration” (Mฮ’ฮ‘), Hellenic Open University; Visiting Professor at the “MSc in Bioeconomy, Circular Economy and Sustainable Development” (University of Piraeus, Department of Economics) and at the “Technology, Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship Master Program in Business Economics” (University of Crete, Department of Economics).
He holds a B.A. from the Department of Economics, University of Athens, a Joint Engineering-Economics MBA from the School of Electrical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Department of Economics, University of Crete.

His scientific expertise focuses on the following areas: Economic Analysis of Business Strategy and Strategic Management, Sustainable Development, Corporate Responsibility, Industrial Organization, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, Start-up Strategy, Sustainable Tourism Development, Mergers & Acquisitions and Competition Policy, Vertical Markets.
In these fields, he has publications in international scientific journals and contributions in collective volumes. He has also provided consulting services and training to businesses and organizations as well as participation in national and international research and development projects.
