Jiří Strouhal is a Full Professor at the Department of Finance and Accounting of SKODA AUTO University Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic.
He gained his Ph.D. in 2005 in area of accounting and corporate finance, was habilitated as an associate professor in 2012 in business economics field and in 2016 was named full professor in business economics field.
Between 2011 – 2021 he served as a President of the Association of Czech Professional Accountants.
He wrote more than 30 books focused on finance or accounting and is an author of more than 300 research or conference papers. He also serves as a professional consultant for audit companies and Czech statistical office.
