Our primary objectives include advancing the fields of management and economics, as well as providing educational resources to our members and the wider public.

Who We Are: Our members include esteemed university professors from various scientific disciplines, postgraduate students, and experts from ministries, public administrations, private and public enterprises, multinational corporations, associations, and similar organizations.

Building Bridges Together: Since its establishment more than ten years ago, the Association of Economists and Managers of the Balkans has established impactful partnerships with more than 1,000 diverse institutions across the Balkans region and worldwide.

๐ŸŽ“ Testimonial from ITEMA 2024 held in Dubai las ๐ŸŽ“ Testimonial from ITEMA 2024 held in Dubai last October. ๐Ÿค— "The ITEMA '24 conference was held in the spectacular setting of Zayed University in Dubai, which is the most equipped and luxurious higher education institution I have ever seen. The conference itself was held in one of the classrooms, which, like the rest of the halls, resembles a 5* hotel where business conferences are organised, which gave this scientific conference a special charm and importance. The world centre of finance and economy such as Dubai was a fascinating background and backdrop for this conference, because where better to discuss the future of management and tourism than in the city of future full of tourists. UDEKOM once again showed that for both professors and students, this type of conference is of great importance, because a very large range of topics was presented, which all decision-makers and policy-makers in politics and economics should listen to before passing laws and economic guidelines, future that in the academic sphere things are most clearly visible and solutions are most clearly articulated. As tourism is the most propulsive industry today, and as it could only be stopped by a pandemic and lockdowns (even the World Economic Crisis of 2008-2010 did not stop the growth in tourism), and as even many destinations complain about "excessive tourism", experiences in this area, which was one of the central themes of ITEMA '24, was very valuable. The conference was perfectly organised, with excellent moderation and a PhD candidate like me had the opportunity to meet the sharp minds of today's management.
